Laken Matthews Takes the Lead in the First Round of Auggie Navarro Wichita Boys Championship

The Auggie Navarro Wichita Boys Championship kicked off in style at the Sim Park Golf Course, with Laken Matthews emerging as the standout performer in the first round. Shooting an impressive 4-under-par 67, Matthews took an early lead in what promises to be a highly competitive tournament.

Matthews' stellar performance placed him four strokes ahead of his closest competitors, Kaden Leivian, Talen Nasone, and Jackson Loomis, who all shot 71.
